What is the Big Phat Hat?

The Big Phat Hat is the  PUA's annual hat tournament. Hat tournaments create teams by mixing all skill levels together.  Players names are placed into “hats” based on skill level and preferred position, and then teams are created distributing skill and positions equally for every team.  This is a great opportunity for everyone to have some fun, more experienced players to coach developing players and developing players to improve their game in a hurry!

GAME SCHEDULES
Day 1. August 13, Saturday

Single round robin is played. Games are 45 minutes with half-time at 20 minutes. There is no point cap. Universal time will be followed.

At 9:00 AM, teams will be announced. There will be six (6) teams. Drills and clinics will be done till game time.

Day 2. August 14, Sunday

Teams are ranked 1st to 6th from Day 1 results. Games are 60 minutes with a point cap of 11. Half-time is at 6 points or 30 minutes.

Finals are 75 minutes with a point cap of 13. Half time is at 8 points.
