Details for ULTIMO ABRIL TRES (3rd Year na.. yahoo!). We hope that a lot of teams can participate however we can accommodate only a maximum of 16 teams

For team registration, please email Gayang Belgira at rockoutdoor@ yahoo.com. Please use the attached registration form for your team roster. Team payments can be made on or before March 31, 2010.

Deadline for initial submission of roster is March 15, 2010.

Please submit your rosters as soon as you’ve finalized it so we can determine initial seeding of teams for Pool Play during the 3 day games. It is very important to indicate your players’ jersey sizes. Jerseys will be given to those who have submitted their rosters before the deadline. Those who did not reach the deadline, jersey distribution will be done after the tournament.

2. Tournament Grounds – Aboitiz Field, Cebu City

Soccer standard size, good grass and field quality, grounds can accommodate 2 fields only

3. Tournament Format and Rules

— UPA 11th Edition Rules

— Pool Play, quarters, and semis is race to 11 points; with time cap of 60 minutes

— Finals game is race to 13 points, with time cap of 70 minutes

— initial seeding of teams depending on roster and achievements in previous tournaments

—12 – 16 teams (maximum is 16 teams)

— Pool Play on Friday, (Holiday –Araw ng Kagitingan) April 9 (7/8Am)

— 10 minutes interval between games

— 2 time-outs total, 1 per half; no more time-outs at 5 minutes left in the game; no floating time-out

— Games for ranking, quarters, semis, and finals on Sunday, April 11

— Captains’ meeting to be held Thursday night, April 8, at Cebu City, venue and time TBA

— Schedule of games, Initial seeding, and team brackets to be released via egroup 3 days before tournament

— Please contact the Organizers in case you need help in booking for a place. Succeeding emails will provide details of the Pension Houses and rates.

5. Registration details

— Registration fee is P400 per player: inclusive of 1 jersey, freebies and parties

— Deadline for submission of team rosters is March 15, 2010.
