The Philippine Ultimate Association (PUA) is the governing body of all disc-related sports and activities in the Philippines. We are a non-stock, non-profit volunteer organization of enthusiastic Ultimate players who organize regular tournaments, training exercises and other activities for Ultimate players.

Tryouts for Team Philippines will be on the following dates:
Feb 11-12 in DAVAO CITY
Venue: Crocodile Park
(Sat) 1-5 pm
(Sun) 1-4 pm
Feb 18-19 in CATICLAN
Venue details to be confirmed next week
Feb 25-26 in CEBU CITY
Venue details to be confirmed next week
Players in Northern Mindanao may wish to attend the tryouts in Cebu City if it’s more convenient that way.
Please be reminded that all players trying out need to pay PUA membership dues – P200 for the entire year. (The Board will post more details regarding this soon)
Aside from this, we are also in need of Marketing/Advertising people to help us get funds and other sponsorship for the team. It will be the Marketing Committee’s responsibility to canvas, explore, and close key sponsorships in both cash (vital) and kind (airfare, field space, etc). For interested individuals or if you know someone who could help, pls email Will Steedman at wsteedman@gmail.com. Any leads would be helpful

Just a reminder that Team Philippines open tryouts for Luzon will be conducted tomorrow and Saturday:
Wednesday, January 25th
8-10pm @ Ultra
Saturday, January 28th
10am-1230pm @ Evia City Multipurpose Fields/Portofino (same location as NYL)
All players who feel they have the skills and/or talent to contribute are welcome to attend. Players are expected to make BOTH tryouts. If for some reason a player can only make one tryout, a valid reason must be given. Attending both however will give the Team Leaders a better chance to observe a players skill and most likely increase the chances they have to shine.
There will be two more tryouts in Manila following these two dates, but these will be by invitation only as cuts will be made after Saturday. Please sign up on the signup sheet TODAY so we can adequately prepare for the tryout:
Regarding provincial tryouts, they will be conducted in Visayas and Mindanao on the weekend of Feb 18/19 and Feb 25/26, details to be given later.

We are pleased to announce the dates and locations of the first two days of Manila tryouts for Team Philippines for the WUGC Osaka 2012 campaign:
Wednesday, January 25th
8-10pm @ Ultra
Saturday, January 28th

These tryouts are for experienced, high level players who want to represent the Philippines. As the tournament will be costly, financial commitment will be required if selected. The PUA welcomes any player eligible to play under WFDF rules, regardless of religion, nationality, color, creed, sexual preference, etc. For those who need clarity on the WFDF rules, please visit:
