The Boracay Dragons are the premiere beach Ultimate players in Asia. They dominate the Boracay Open and were successful in their bid for a six-peat in 2009. Â Internationally, the Dragons have won in Singapore on grass (pool B champions for 2 years) and on beach (champions every time they join). In December 2007, the Dragons competed in the World Beach Ultimate Championships in Brazil and placed second in the world.
The Dragons are composed of bar and resort owners, sailboat operators, teachers, divers, kite surfers, students, bar staff and waiters. They are extremely passionate about Ultimate and are the driving force in the promotion of Ultimate on the small island of Boracay. It’s because of the Dragons that almost everyone in Boracay knows how to throw a Frisbee.
