Composed of the best of the best players in the country (including Boracay players), Team Philippines has been competing internationally since 2005. While it first started out as a team composed mostly of expats and some local players, Team Philippines is now the only team in Asia (with the exception of Japan and Singapore) that has a 90% local team membership (meaning, they only have three foreigners in a roster of twenty).
Team Philippines has competed in Australia, Shanghai, Singapore, and Hong Kong, and has won Manila Spirits twice. Thanks to a steady practice schedule and dedicated, passionate players, Team Philippines is now poised to become the team to beat in Asia, having been mentioned in a number of international Ultimate blogs and websites as the next Asian superstars of the sport.
