From ousted portavoz de la junta, Rick Cayzer:
So it was a quiet weekend. Not very eventful at all. We had a few people over for some beers, hardly anything to talk about. Lance wore a cool mask. That was the highlight really.
9 Open teams, 4 Women’s teams, and a massive 32 Mixed teams. 700 participants. Thank you so very much to all of you who came to Manila and helped us make the 2009 WFDF Manila Spirits AOUCC such a successful tournament. We received a lot of very positive feedback, thank you to all who sent us messages to let us know how much fun you had. We had a terrific time hosting you and can’t thank you enough for your support. Rest assured that we’ll be taking your suggestions on board for Spirits 2010.

WFDF Rules of Ultimate 2009
Thank you to all for helping make Saturday such a successful finals experience.
Pool A champs - BC. Sexual Chocolate conceded at half time, they knew they had no chance. Although this result is highly probable, the actual final was an epic battle between Sex Choc and Southern Harmony, with Sex Choc taking the title 15-13. Congratulations Sexual Chocolate! Amazing O and D by both teams. You are athletic freaks.
Pool B champs – Circus Weng Weng. After some wild swings in the score throughout the game, they pipped K3 at the post in what was also an incredible final, taking the championship 15-14. Nail biting stuff.
Pool C champs – Kayumanggi. They showed El Buritos no mercy and took the title 15-3. Well done Kayumanngi. And also to El Buritos as I believe Monsoon was their first league ever.
Next stop Spirits.
