So it was a quiet weekend. Not very eventful at all. We had a few people over for some beers, hardly anything to talk about. Lance wore a cool mask. That was the highlight really.
9 Open teams, 4 Women’s teams, and a massive 32 Mixed teams. 700 participants. Thank you so very much to all of you who came to Manila and helped us make the 2009 WFDF Manila Spirits AOUCC such a successful tournament. We received a lot of very positive feedback, thank you to all who sent us messages to let us know how much fun you had. We had a terrific time hosting you and can’t thank you enough for your support. Rest assured that we’ll be taking your suggestions on board for Spirits 2010.

It is official. We have been awarded the Asia Oceanic Ultimate Club Championships 2009 (AOUCC 2009).
The tournament will be held on Nov 6 to 8, 2009 at Alabang Country Club, Alabang, Metro Manila. Depending on the number of teams and divisions, registration will be on November 5.
The plan is for mixed, women’s, and open divisions as long as there are enough teams for each division (WFDF requires 4 teams to qualify as an official AOUCC division). It is club based and will be a basis for qualifications for the World Club Championships 2010 in Prague. Continue reading ‘Manila Spirits/AOUCC 2009′
